📋 Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Consult with guests to recommend and serve the perfect wines and spirits that complement their dining experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the wine and spirits industry.
• Create and maintain an extensive wine and spirits list, ensuring it reflects the latest offerings and trends.
• Provide educational and informative wine and spirits tastings and presentations to guests and staff.
• Participate in inventory management and ordering, working closely with our suppliers to ensure we have the best selection available.
• Assist in the planning and execution of special events and wine dinners, showcasing our unique offerings.
• Collaborate with our culinary team to create and implement wine pairings that enhance the overall dining experience.
• Promote our wine and spirits offerings through social media and other marketing channels.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sommelier or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• A deep knowledge and passion for wine and spirits, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult with guests and staff effectively.
• A keen eye for detail, with the ability to create and maintain an extensive and accurate wine and spirits list.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and come up with new ideas to enhance our offerings.
